Student Emergency Grant
U.S. Department of Education Higher education emergency relief fund application form Ocean County College has received authorization and funding through the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) to disburse federal emergency grants to students. The link below will take you to an application form that is designed to help us understand your circumstances and needs. The federal government has clarified that funds must be reserved to provide students with financial aid grants, which may be used for any component of the student’s cost of attendance or for emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus, such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care) or child care.

Cares act emergency fund application
To be considered for these funds, students applied for CRRSAA HEERF II Supplemental Funds to document that they had incurred an expense as a result of the disruption of campus operations due to the pandemic and meet other eligibility criteria. Expenses could have related to food, housing, course materials, technology, health care, and child-care expenses, among others. Students were asked to attach supporting documentation to their application. CRRSAA HEERF II Supplemental Fund applications were made available on April 15, 2021 and the funds were exhausted in mid-September, 2021. Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) Grants Students were asked to describe the expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic for which they were seeking support. These may include items such as food, housing, course materials, technology, health care and child care. They must also briefly describe any financial hardship they are experiencing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
